casting Choices and justifications
Charles Martin - Killer - Jason Sudeikis
Our group decided to cast Charles Martin as Wirehead, the titular serial killer. This decision was made as he is an A-Level drama student, the reason for casting him as the serial killer in the film is due to his tall and heavy appearance, giving him a threatening look during several fight scenes or chases. After seeing Jason Sudeikis in multiple comedy films and noting the likeness between the two, we decided that during scenes where the killer doesn't wear a mask, the audience would be rather unassuming in suspecting that he was also the killer.

Callum NoBrain - Second Victim - Andrew Garfield
We decided to cast Callum Brain as one of the initial victims for the killer. This is because he seems to be a relatively unsuspecting person, and maintains a serious look while traversing the killers woods, which portrays the killer as being a powerful being and drawing out the feeling of dread in the audience. During the horror/thriller film Red Riding 1974, Andrew Garfield plays a reporter investigating a serial killer, through out the film he keeps a calm and collected expression. Due to Callum's similarity to Andrew, we decided to cast him for this look.

Sarah Gibson - Cheerleader Victim - Margot Robbie
In our project, we decided to cast Sarah Gibson as the Cheerleader, as she is a blonde teenage girl. This fits the stereotype of the cheerleader, which is set out by other slasher films, such as Cheerleader Camp (1988). After noticing a similarity between her and the actress Margot Robbie, we found that Margot Robbie acted in the horror film I.C.U. (2009). In I.C.U., Margot Robbie plays a victim, and because of this we elected to cast Sarah as a victim.

Cameron Hall - First Victim - Daniel Radcliffe
Our group decided to cast Cameron Hall as the main actor and first victim in our opening title sequence. As a result of us, as a group, finding the link link between Cameron and Daniel Radcliffe. This is due to the two common links between the two actors. One of which being the ability to withstand the pressure of being the main actor (Daniel Radcliffe as Harry in Harry Potter). Cameron has ensured us as a group that he is more than happy to be the main actor in our opening title sequence. Also, Cameron being the first victim in the sequence allows us to look at Daniel Radcliffe's 'victim' side. This is portrayed in the movie 'The Woman In Black'. Daniel's performance as 'Arthur Kipps' conveys how well he can act as a victim. Which intertwines with how Cameron can act as someone who is in constant and severe danger.
